Privacy notice
This notice explains the information involved when you visit OmegleHot or use its live chat. It reflects the current service and may change as the product changes.
Last updated: October 19, 2026.
Information involved in the service
- Camera and microphone: your browser asks permission before access. Live media is transmitted for the WebRTC conversation and is not intentionally recorded or stored by OmegleHot.
- Connection and matching data: temporary socket identifiers, connection state, country information made available by hosting providers or your browser locale, and your country preference are processed to operate matching.
- Text messages: messages you choose to send are relayed to the current participant during the live session. The application does not provide persistent chat history.
- Local settings: your selected country preference is saved in your browser’s local storage so it can be restored later.
- Support email: if you contact us, we receive the address, content, and attachments you provide.
Analytics, advertising, and error monitoring
OmegleHot uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage, Google AdSense to support advertising, and Sentry to diagnose technical errors. These providers may receive standard device, browser, network, cookie, and page-interaction information under their own terms. We configure product analytics not to include message content, partner identifiers, or media-device labels.
How information is used
Information is used to deliver and secure the service, match participants, diagnose failures, measure performance, respond to support or legal requests, prevent abuse, and understand which public pages are useful.
Retention and disclosure
Live matching state is designed to be temporary and held in server memory while connections are active. Operational logs, provider data, and support emails can be retained for their legitimate operational, security, legal, and troubleshooting purposes. Information may be disclosed to service providers, when required by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect people and the service.
Your choices
You can deny or revoke camera and microphone permission, clear local storage and cookies in your browser, use browser privacy controls, leave a conversation, or stop using the service. To ask a privacy question, email contact@omeglehot.com.
Important WebRTC note
Real-time browser connections can expose network information needed to establish media transport to infrastructure providers and, depending on connection routing, to the other participant. Use a network and device configuration appropriate for your privacy needs.
